We practice what we preach. Our consultancy is self-hosted and all the tools we make are open source. We’re not interested in building another black box. No mysterious process, no proprietary framework, no deck that disappears into a client’s hard drive followed by a bill. If the work is useful, it should be inspectable, forkable, and capable of escaping the room where it was made.

What do you do differently?
We don’t have any answers. We arrive with questions and a willingness to break the machine before we try to improve it. We don’t optimize yesterday. We help you discover what might work tomorrow and then test it against reality.
How did you get started?
We started by mentoring startups through EIT Culture & Creativity. We worked with founders who had big ambitions, limited resources and no shortage of uncertainty. We learned that the interesting problems revealed the places where the map itself might be wrong.
How do you measure success?
By the number of viable next moves that weren't visible before we started. Ideally, we leave you with less nonesense, more options and something worth testing.
What is the background of your staff?
Tech veterans, artists, strategists, culture specialists and people who have spent enough time in the real world to have seen a hype cycle or two and felt the consequences on their own skin.
How long does it take until you find the right solution?
We don’t, you do. Something unexpected usually happens halfway through a conversation or when you say out loud the thing you hadn’t quite admitted to yourself yet. Our job is to create the conditions for this moment to happen.
Where are you based?
We’re based in Bucharest, Romania. This is the sharp end of Europe where the R&D department has been Necessity. We know how to do more with less and build around constraints. We don't wait for perfect conditions. It’s an excellent place to think about the future right about now. Our clients, however, are everywhere, and we have work and life experience that span multiple continents.
